In addition to curating this blog, I’m also a Huffington Post Blogger and have appeared in various other mainstream media, including television appearances on Sky News and France 3, and in the British newspapers The Sunday Times, The Guardian, The Telegraph and The Daily Mail.

I’m very open to suggestions from people in the travel industry and in the past I’ve taken part in a number of PR campaigns and collaborations to promote destinations, attractions, hotels and more! Here are some examples:

I was selected as one of DoubleTree by Hilton‘s six DTourists, which involved travelling coast-to-coast across North America for 17 days blogging about seven of their great hotels – you can learn more about it in this article. I was invited to review the Keswick Country House Hotel in the Lake District (see my article here) and invited by Samabe Leisure to spend a week in Bali reviewing their three luxury resorts (read my reviews here, here and here). I have also reviewed the spa and hotel at Bedford Lodge in Newmarket here, the Nira Caledonia Hotel in Edinburgh here, the 5* Hotel de la Trémoille in Paris here and the Old Stocks Inn boutique hotel in the Cotswolds here. I sailed around Greek islands to review a MedSailors yacht holiday here.

I was chosen as one of Discover Padova‘s four guest bloggers in their recent blogger campaign (read my post here) and I worked with Tourism Ireland to offer my readers two free tickets to Bestival to visit their Shenanigans experience at the festival (see the reader-giveaway competition I ran here). I have visited the Opal Coast in France courtesy of Boulogne-sur-Mer Tourist Office and Nausicaa Aquarium (see my reviews here and here). I have explored the island of Malta as a guest of the national tourist board Visit Malta (read my review here) and I have worked with Visit Britain on their social media strategy. I have explored Antigua at the invitation of Visit Antigua & Barbuda here, visited Lake Como in Italy courtesy of the tourist office PromoBellagio here, worked with Visit Stockholm to explore the Swedish capital and visited Moscow with Visit Russia.

I’ve worked with several transport companies such as airlines Cathay Pacific (see my review of Premium Economy and the lounges), Qatar Airways (see my review of Business Class and their Heathrow lounge) and Aer Lingus (running a reader competition to win flights to New York), ferry operator Red Funnel (here’s my article about my trip to the Isle of Wight). I’ve also worked with London City Airport (in their #NoFilter blogger campaign), rail company First Great Western (see this post to see how I promoted their competition), car hire company Hertz,  transport booking website GoEuro (here), luxury airport lounge company No.1 Traveller (see my review here) and limousine company Blacklane (here).

I promoted and blogged about a competition run by Black Tomato to win a weekend in Paris and the winner was one of my readers, here’s the article. Through Black Tomato I also visited and reviewed the Nira Caledonia hotel in Edinburgh (see my review here). I have also reviewed two hotels (here and here) in Hong Kong in partnership with online travel agency Holidays Please and reviewed one hotel in Ubud, Bali, with online travel agency Design Hotels (see here). I also won a blogger competition to learn to scuba dive in Malta and received my PADI Open Water. I was chosen as one of 7 European bloggers in the #KAYAKhacksIceland campaign by travel search engine KAYAK to explore Iceland here. I also reviewed the express visa services of Visa To Home for a trip to St Petersburg here.

I have reviewed walking tours around London offered by Insider London (see my review of their Street Art Tour and their Quirky History of London Tour) and Eating London (see my review here), and a culinary walking tour around Madrid run by Madrid Food Tour (see here) as well as a historical walking tour run by Across Madrid (see here). I have also reviewed plays such as the new Jeeves & Wooster play in London’s West End (read my review here) and openings such as the Pullman St Pancras Hotel (see here) and Gordon Ramsay’s latest restaurant, Union Street Café (see my review of the event here). I also reviewed the spa at Hammam Al Andalus in Madrid (see here) and London’s mobile massage service Urban Massage (here and here).

I worked with Antler to review one of their new Juno suitcases on a weekend away (see here), I have worked with Aspinal of London on their collection of travel accessories and leather goods, and I also worked with outdoor and sportswear retailer Surfdome on this article. I have worked with Holidays Please to review a set of Google Glass from the perspective of a traveller (see that article here) and I have reviewed other products such as Logitech’s EU Boom speaker (here), photography prints and canvases from Photobox (here) and clothing from Blacks (here).
