Postcard of the Week: Berlin

Founded in 1237 under the name Cölln, Berlin is the capital of the Federal Republic of Germany. With a population of around 3.5 million people, the city is one of the economic, political and artistic centres of the world. It’s a metropolis that blends great urban and business development with a rich historical heritage and cultural evolution, housing a large quantity of museums, galleries and other extraordinary tourist attractions, as well as hosting plenty of first-class events. The city which contains places such as the Friedrichstraßee, Alexanderplatz y Potsdamer Platz, among others, is without a doubt a tourist destination that is not to be missed.
