I was fortunate to attend both the 2013 One Young World summit in Johannesburg and the 2014 summit in Dublin as well. The summit gathers together 1,300 young people under 30 from 190 different countries to discuss pressing world issues in the presence of some of the greatest minds and most influential public figures: Kofi Annan, Mohammed Yunus, Richard Branson, Arianna Huffington and even Winnie Mandela gave the closing speech in 2013. Both summits were unique and priceless opportunities to meet other young leaders and I’d recommend to any young person that they look into it.
