City View Travel Photography Competition
A browse on Twitter lead me to this travel photography competition run by Millennium & Copthorne Hotels. To enter I have to tweet the URL of a photo I have taken of a “City View”. So I set out thinking “I have thousands of photos from over the years, this will be easy”. And here came my problem – I have such an addiction to taking photos that I literally have thousands upon thousands of photos and actually finding one takes forever. I was given my first digital camera seven years ago, aged 16. I have had roughly six other cameras since that clunky Canon that required four AA batteries and I’ve travelled five different continents and God only knows how many cities. So needless to say, choosing just one photo to enter into the competition has not been the easiest of tasks. But I finally managed to come up with a shortlist of 13 photos and I’ve decided to display them here. The photo I finally decided to settle on for the competition is this one, taken from the London Eye:
One of the categories for the competition is “Most Shared” photo, and is judged by how many times the photo is tweeted from the Competition page so if you’d like to support me then please follow this link and tweet my photo!
Here are the other 13 photos: looking at them has reminded me of my various trips abroad and has given me such travelling pangs! I hope you enjoy them.
