Postcard of the Week: Skiing in Morzine

Morzine A week ago I got back to London after a snowy week of skiing in Morzine, in the Portes du Soleil region of the French Alps. Morzine itself is pretty low down and to get higher up we took the Prodains lift up to Avoriaz each day, from there having access to other resorts such as Chatel, Les Crosts, Champery & Morgins, crossing over into Switzerland. Morzine is apparently a mini-Britain and it’s true that most of the people we met were Brits. But the ski range is huge and I had an absolutely fabulous week at the Chalet Chambertin just outside of Morzine – more about that in a blog post to come!
