Instagramming my travels from April – June 2013
Back in April I posted a summary of my travels over January, February and March 2013, as seen through the eyes of my Instagram account (you can find me at vstuarttaylor). If you’re on Instagram then please let me know where I can find you, as I love discovering new gems!
Here’s a (belated) round up of my travels abroad over April, May and June, as seen through Instagram.
Milan – late-April 2013
1. I arrived in Milan and was immediately greeted by this lovely rose! 2. The weather wasn’t great that weekend and the Duomo di Milano is looking particularly grey, but as majestic as ever. 3. In the stunning Brera district is the Galleria di Brera, full of august statues. 4. Behind the Castello Sforzesco is a beautiful verdant park, with Napoleon’s Arco della Pace at the end. 5. The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II sits in the centre of Milan housing designer shops and restaurants. 6. A trip to Italy wouldn’t be complete without aperitivi! This time with a cocktail in hand, rather than my usual Aperol Spritz.

Barcelona – mid-May 2013
1. Placa Reial is one of my favourite spots in Barcelona and here’s one of its palm trees. 2. The ever-packed Las Ramblas, Barcelona’s famous street complete with human statues and La Boqueria food market. 3. Outside one of Gaudi’s imprints on the city – La Pedrera. 4. Strolling along the Passeig de Gracia in the sun. 5. I took this photos of the palm trees on the beach on a morning run. 6. Locals playing volleyball on the beach near the Olympic Port.

June – nothing!
I’m sad to say that that I didn’t travel abroad anywhere in June! I stayed in London the entire month, indulging in Wimbledon and the beginning of the British summer. I’ll write a post on my travels & trips within the UK, to show you what there’s to see in this lovely country of mine.
